The Crucial Post-Internship Thank You Email
As your internship draws to a close, you should begin writing thank you emails to people you’ve interacted with. Not only is it polite, but it also shows respect and gratitude for the time and effort your colleagues have put in while working with you.
If you’re the only one in your batch of interns who does send out a thank you email, you’re definitely going to be remembered. If everyone sends out these emails, at least you don’t stick out for missing the memo on this.
Send personalized emails to your direct manager and everyone you worked with. And for colleagues you spoke to over coffee, a general thank you will do. Be sure to give them a way to remain in contact with you as well.
